Edison and Catholic Central are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Edison Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Catholic Central Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Edison took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 49-39 victory over Conotton Valley.
Meanwhile, Catholic Central strolled past Toronto with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-46.
Catholic Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Benjamin Rook out in front who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Bolster, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Edison's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
Edison didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 49-43 victory.
