Volleyball Recap: Fort Calhoun Falls Despite Big Games from Gracie Lasher and Claire Pearson

Fort Calhoun's tournament run continued when they took on Lourdes Central Catholic on Saturday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claire Pearson and Gracie Lasher certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Pearson had 14 digs, while Lasher had seven digs. Pearson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Fort Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Fort Calhoun has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Wilber-Clatonia on the 6th. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Auburn on the 6th.
