The Lassiter Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Blessed Trinity 56-30. Lassiter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Cal Liston, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kyhir Torrence was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Lassiter's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Blessed Trinity, the last time they won on the road was back two weeks ago. Having now lost three straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lassiter will challenge North Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Springs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 328th, while Lassiter is ranked 38th). As for Blessed Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Pius X Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Pius X Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 237 points over their last three matches.
