The Venture Academy Mustangs put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Oakdale 80-54. The result was nothing new for Venture Academy, who have now won six matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Mario Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Venture Academy's points. Another player making a difference was DaeLeon Neal, who scored 10 points along with 9 assists and 3 steals.
Venture Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Oakdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Venture Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Union at 8:30 p.m. on December 8th. East Union will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1167th, while Venture Academy is ranked 149th). As for Oakdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Tokay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
