The Tri Titans will challenge the Edinburgh Lancers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Edinburgh will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tri extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. The Titans blew past Union City 7-1.

Macey Ballard made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lyla Williams, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Rylan Matthews was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh made easy work of Waldron on Thursday and carried off a 17-3 win.
Like Tri, Edinburgh also got a great game from a two-way player: Chloe Hancock. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Hancock was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Edinburgh got a massive performance out of Adalyn Ramey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Eloise Cox, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Edinburgh's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Tri, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tri hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. However, it's not like Edinburgh struggles in that department as they've averaged .393. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
