Despite the loss, AuSable Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Robert Amato shot 55% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals. Aiden Blaise was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
AuSable Valley has already played their next contest, a 55-38 defeat against Peru on the 5th. As for Northern Adirondack, they will square off against Ticonderoga at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
