The Red Hawks blew past the Warriors 24-0. The win continues a trend for the Red Hawks in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
Raine Wonsey made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Wonsey was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Skyler Steele, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Abigail Schreiber, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Frontier Regional's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Pioneer Valley Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Everything went Frontier Regional's way against Pioneer Valley Regional when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Frontier Regional made off with an 18-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
