On Thursday, Nease kept a clean sheet against Fernandina Beach. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Fernandina Beach. The win made it back-to-back wins for Nease.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Austen Escoffery and
Austin Mills, who scored.
The win got Nease back to even at 5-5-3. As for Fernandina Beach, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nease will take on Sandalwood at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. As for Fernandina Beach, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
