Community Charter won the last time they faced CALS Early College and Edem Ladzekpo did his part to make sure it happened again. The Titans managed a 41-36 win over the Falcons on Tuesday thanks in part to Ladzekpo, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 16 boards. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 17 points.

When it comes to explaining why CALS Early College lost, don't look at Jaylin Tate. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andres Arita, who earned seven points.

Community Charter's record now sits at 2-3. As for CALS Early College, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Community Charter will venture away from home to face off against Horace Mann UCLA Community at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for CALS Early College, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Magnolia Science Academy 5 at 3:00 p.m. on the 15th.
