Dalton Gergen was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out 14 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Logan Robinson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
