Anyelo Rodriguez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
