Arizona Lutheran Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against The Miami Vandals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Last Friday, Arizona Lutheran Academy made easy work of Tonopah Valley and carried off a 35-14 win. The result was nothing new for Arizona Lutheran Academy, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Rylan Bass was his usual excellent self, rushing for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Gideon Enter, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Arizona Lutheran Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Liam Enter and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Miami got themselves on the board against San Carlos on Friday, but San Carlos never followed suit. They blew past the Braves, posting a 54-0 win at home.
Miami found their leader in underclassman Jeffrey Askew, who rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Arizona Lutheran Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Miami, their victory on Friday bumped their record up to 3-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday' contest: Arizona Lutheran Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 291.8 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Miami, though, as they've been averaging only 51.1 per game. How will Miami fare against such a dominant running game?
