In what's become a running theme this season, the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They really took it to Madrid-Waddington for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-44 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Tupper Lake who now have six in a row.
Thomas Peterson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. He hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Garrett Pelkey, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Tupper Lake pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Madrid-Waddington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Tupper Lake will head out on the road to face off against Colton-Pierrepont at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Madrid-Waddington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
