The Pine Forest Trojans had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 50-43 victory over Triton on Thursday. For Pine Forest, this counts as revenge for the 50-36 defeat Triton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Chloe Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Janaea Conley, who scored nine points.
The win got Pine Forest back to even at 6-6. As for Triton, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-5.
Pine Forest will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Riverside Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Riverside Christian Academy will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Triton, they will head out on the road to face off against Overhills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
