The River Rouge Panthers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hamtramck Cosmos at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, it was close, but River Rouge sidestepped Flat Rock for a 57-54 victory.
Meanwhile, even though Canton scored an imposing 66 points on Friday, Hamtramck still came out on top. Hamtramck snuck past Canton with a 71-66 win. Given Hamtramck's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Canton is ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
River Rouge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hamtramck, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
River Rouge strolled past Hamtramck when the teams last played back in February by a score of 76-60. Will River Rouge repeat their success, or does Hamtramck have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
