Compton Early College hadn't done well against Ambassador recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Compton Early College Rising Phoenix put the hurt on the Ambassador Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Rising Phoenix not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 21st.

Compton Early College pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ambassador, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Compton Early College didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Pacific Lutheran on the 20th. Ambassador does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
