There's no place like home for the Parkville Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 50-43 win over Western Tech & Environmental Science on Wednesday. This was payback for Parkville, who suffered a 61-50 loss the last time these two teams met.
Parkville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tiras Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilkerson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Alexander, who scored 14 points.
Parkville pushed their record up to 2-1 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2.
Parkville will head out on the road to face off against Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Tech & Environmental Science will be home for the holidays to greet Dulaney at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
