The Banks County Leopards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Prince Avenue Christian on Saturday as Banks County made off with a 60-34 win. The win was nothing new for Banks County as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Banks County to victory were Addison Hoard and Ryleigh Murphy. Hoard scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Murphy scored 17 points along with three steals. Hoard is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Segars, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Banks County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banks County will face off against Athens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Spartanburg Day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Spartanburg Day comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
