The North Marion Colts extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Santa Fe Raiders. They had just enough and edged the Raiders out 61-59. Winning may never get old, but North Marion sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
North Marion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brenden Barber, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Barber scored 15 or more points. Coy Sizemore was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The victory got North Marion back to even at 12-12. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
North Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-54 defeat vs. Palatka on the 10th. Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
