The Eastern Ramblers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They blew past Cardozo 65-4 at home. The victory was nothing new for Eastern as they're now sitting on six straight.
Eastern's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lanaia Martin, who dropped a triple-double on 23 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. Martin is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samia Greene, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Eastern is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Cardozo, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Eastern will stay at home for another game and welcome the Trainers at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Cardozo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
