Chloe Wilson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Janaea Conley was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Riverside Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Ascend Leadership 70-2 on the road. Riverside Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 37 points or more this season.
Riverside Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Paris Autry, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Autry has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Frank, who scored ten points along with six assists and six steals.
The win got Pine Forest back to even at 6-6. As for Riverside Christian Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
Saturday's game is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Pine Forest have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 30.3 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Riverside Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 33.2 rebounds per game.
