If Bristol Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Enfield, they should've done a better job of containing Sawyer Pequita. The Eagles managed a 30-26 victory over the Rams on Friday with plenty of help from Pequita, who rushed for 119 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 188 yards and one touchdown. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Enfield is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

One reason for the win was Enfield's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Jakobi Jackson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

When it comes to explaining why Bristol Central lost, don't look at Gabriel Ouellette. Despite the final result, he rushed for 159 yards and two scores while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Ouellette's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

The win got Enfield back to even at 4-4. As for Bristol Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Enfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 43-21 victory against Conard on the 14th. As for Bristol Central, they have also already played their next game, a 30-18 win against Simsbury on the 14th.
