Palisade won the last time they faced Battle Mountain, and things went their way on Friday, too. Palisade took their contest against Battle Mountain by a conclusive 42-14 score. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with four in a row now.
The game started off well for Palisade, whose offense put up 42 first-half points. Meanwhile, Battle Mountain couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42 to nothing heading into the break. Palisade was outperformed in the second half 14 to nothing but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
The Bulldogs will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Summit at 7 p.m. ET. Those two teams are strolling into their matchup after big wins in their previous games. The Huskies are hunkering down at home again for their matchup against Eagle Valley next week. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
