Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy). They came out on top against the Ramah Mustangs by a score of 52-39 on Saturday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 56-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Twins, who posted 12 points and six steals. Twins has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lex Largo, who put up 12 points and five steals.

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ramah, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy will square off against Tse' Yi' Gai at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ramah, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Quemado at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
