Skyview has gone a perfect 10-0 against Camas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Storm will welcome the Papermakers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Camas will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Skyview extended their winning streak to six on Thursday. The Storm's pitchers stepped up to hand Battle Ground a 12-0 shutout.
Malea Figueroa made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Madison Paik tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.
Back at the plate, Symaran Sivaivai was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Audrey Jackson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Skyview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in six consecutive games.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Camas and Union meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Papermakers blew past the Titans 16-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Papermakers considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Norah Chambers was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Hayden Wiest, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Skyview's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Camas, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Skyview hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Camas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Skyview got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Camas by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Storm have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Papermakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
