Hawley is 9-1 against East Grand Forks since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Hawley can attribute much of their success to Hannah Stotts, who had 12 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Stotts has posted over her last eight contests. Gracey Hecker also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
East Grand Forks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Warroad 3-0. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-15.
East Grand Forks' win came from a few key players Hawley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kelsey Spilde, who had 12 digs.
East Grand Forks' victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Hawley, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Hawley has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7 aces per game. However, it's not like East Grand Forks struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
