The Osceola Kowboys are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against the Davenport Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Last Wednesday, Osceola got the win against Bayside by a conclusive 17-7.

Destiny Ferrer was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (four). Brooke Flaherty was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Osceola kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Davenport got themselves on the board against Celebration on Thursday, but Celebration never followed suit. They came out on top against the Storm by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Ashanti Pagan made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Pagan is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stole at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madison Bergeron, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Bergeron is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stole at least two every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Duran, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Davenport's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Osceola, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Davenport's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Osceola hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .452. It's a different story for Davenport, though, as they've only averaged .203. Will they be able to contain Osceola's hitters?
Osceola came out on top in a nail-biter against Davenport when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Osceola since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
