Fans got a thrill when Clay Brown and Terry Anderson connected against Seymour. The connection was good for 82 yards, the longest such play in Mid-Southern this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Brownstown Central beat the Owls 57-8. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Braves.
Brownstown Central's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brown threw for 206 and 2 touchdowns and Anderson had 134 yards receiving. On the ground Justin Donnells chipped in 204 yards. John McKinney helped Brownstown Central's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 32 yards.
He went 16-25 with 1 interception.
Brown put up the best numbers in passing as Reed May's team defeated Seymour. Brown's favorite target this week was Anderson, who caught 8 passes for 134 yards.
Brownstown Central's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brown has thrown for 1,289 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Jacob Wilson has 17 catches for 392 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Charlestown takes on Corydon Central. The Pirates are currently in third, while the Panthers are in second.
The Braves took down Josh Shattuck's team 57-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brown in the win.
