Dublin earned some more postseason success in their game on Friday. They captured a comfortable 45-26 win over Bremen. Dublin's victory was all the more impressive since Bremen was averaging only ten points allowed on the season.
The Fighting Irish got off to a slow start in their last-week matchup against Early County, but they had no such trouble against Bremen as they cruised to a 25-point first half. The Blue Devils weren't quite able to keep up, scoring 12 to make it 25-12 heading into the break. The offense for Dublin continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away.
senior Zion Kemp had a stellar game for Dublin as he rushed for 138 yards and two TDs on nine carries. This makes it five games in a row in which Kemp has produced a touchdown. junior Markelle Mitchell was in the mix, too, providing Dublin with two touchdowns.
The Fighting Irish will go up against Hapeville Charter in continuing playoff action on Friday. Hapeville Charter has averaged 46.80 points over the course of their past five games, so the Fighting Irish might be in for a challenge. Bremen's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
