Independence has gone 9-1 against Page recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Independence will be strutting in after a win while Page will be coming in after a loss.
On Tuesday, Independence beat Ravenwood 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Independence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

Lily Patton was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Page came up short against Brentwood on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
While Page was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.
Independence will have to contain Hannah Rider as she made an impact in Page's last game. She had 16 digs and one assist. Rider has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.
Independence's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Page, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Independence has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Independence's way against Page when the teams last played back in August, as Independence made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
