The Jersey Shore Bulldogs can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They really took it to Danville for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-25 victory at home. The victory was nothing new for Jersey Shore as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Jersey Shore's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jocelyn McCracken, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. McCracken hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Cailyn Schall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Jersey Shore's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Danville, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jersey Shore will square off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Mountain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 103rd). Danville is on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Braves at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Hopefully Shikellamy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Saturday.
