The Westside Christian Academy Eagles won against the Heritage Christian Patriots last Tuesday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Westside Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 60-38 margin over Heritage Christian. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Westside Christian Academy had established a 21 point advantage.
Westside Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trent Douglass out in front who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Taylor, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Westside Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Westside Christian Academy will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Ridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
