Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Banning walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 58-33 margin over the Maricopa Indians on Friday. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Riley Aguilar was his usual excellent self, putting up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Junior Dunahoo, who posted 11 points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Banning, bringing their record for this year to 18-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Maricopa, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Banning didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-54 defeat against South El Monte on the 18th. Maricopa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
