Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to Jurupa Hills.

Freddy Terrazas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Central is 4-1 when Terrazas posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-10 otherwise. Silverio Bobadilla also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Jurupa Hills, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

While Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
