IC Imagine has gone a perfect 3-0 against Shining Rock Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Kingfishers will challenge the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (IC Imagine has three straight victories, Shining Rock Classical Academy has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Tuesday, IC Imagine made easy work of The Franklin School of Innovation and carried off a 3-0 win.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: IC Imagine took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-11.

IC Imagine's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Maria Roberts, who had eight aces and seven digs, and Jaedyn Miller, who had 15 kills, two aces, and one block. Miller is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: IC Imagine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Shining Rock Classical Academy lost 3-0 to Blue Ridge Early College on Monday.
While Shining Rock Classical Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-16.
Shining Rock Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for IC Imagine, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
IC Imagine took their win against Shining Rock Classical Academy in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kingfishers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
