Volleyball Recap: Lutheran South Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lutheran South Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the All S Saints on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since September 11th.

Despite the defeat, Lutheran South Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Charlie Marsico had 12 digs and two assists. Marsico is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Lutheran South Academy's loss dropped their record down to 31-8. As for All S, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Lutheran South Academy nor All S have any future games scheduled.
