The Lamar Warriors won against the Perryville Mustangs on Friday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Lamar enjoyed a cozy 62-46 win over Perryville. Winning may never get old, but Lamar sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Lamar got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Noonan out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Lane Miller was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Lamar's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Perryville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, Lamar and Perryville will both be playing Dover the next time they take the court. Lamar will host Dover at TBD on Tuesday, while Perryville will host them at TBD on Thursday.
