The Pembroke Dragons's and the Attica Blue Devils's match on Wednesday was close at halftime, but the Pembroke Dragons turned on the heat in the second half with 33 points. Pembroke was the clear victor by a 46-23 margin over Attica. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Pembroke has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pembroke to victory, but perhaps none more so than Onolee Easterbrook, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Schneider, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Pembroke's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Attica, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Pembroke won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Holley at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Attica will be home for the holidays to greet Kendall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kendall will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
