While losing is never fun, Chino Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Camp Verde is ranked 95th).
Meanwhile, Scottsdale Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 42-27 bruising from Bourgade Catholic. Scottsdale Christian Academy has not had much luck with Bourgade Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Chino Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-12.
