The Concord Minutemen lost against the Edwardsburg Eddies back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Concord fell 45-36 to Edwardsburg. Concord has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Concord's loss came despite strong showings from Mileah Mckain and Dominique Stilley. Mckain scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Stilley scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Claire Campanello was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Concord's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Edwardsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Prairie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Prairie Heights focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Saturday. As for Edwardsburg, they will head out on the road to take on Plainwell at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
