The Kearney Catholic Stars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 58-53 W over Ravenna. With that win, Kearney Catholic brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Kearney Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Murphy, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Murphy. Jacob Bosshamer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Kearney Catholic and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Ravenna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Kearney Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet McCook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ravenna's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southern Valley at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th.
