Baseball Recap: River View Comes Up Short

River View came up short against Liberty on Thursday, falling 10-2.

River View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Tester, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. That hit was Tester's first of the season.

River View now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will challenge Marion at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will face off against James Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
