Asher Maxwell Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Dayton's Asher Maxwell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Maxwell rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Dayton pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Maxwell and Dayton will host Santiam Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from James As Taft Won 42-0
Ezra James was instrumental in extending Taft's winning streak to four on Friday. James did his part (and then some), throwing for 268 yards and five touchdowns while completing 95% of his passes for the 'W'.
Taft's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. James and Taft will challenge Amity on Friday.
