Jac-Cen-Del is 1-7 against Lawrenceburg since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Jac-Cen-Del is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Jac-Cen-Del and Morristown, and Jac-Cen-Del kept the tradition alive. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Yellow Jackets on Thursday. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Dylan Ricke and Parker Pindell did most of the damage at the plate: Ricke went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Pindell went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Ricke a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Johnson, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawrenceburg). They had just enough and edged out South Dearborn 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.
Brody Price looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Lawrenceburg is undefeated when Price allows one or fewer earned runs, but 0-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Lawrenceburg's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Cornett, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Kolton Chase also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
The win got Lawrenceburg back to even at 3-3. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
Lawrenceburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jac-Cen-Del has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. It's a different story for Lawrenceburg, though, as they've only averaged .324. Will they be able to contain Jac-Cen-Del's hitters?
Jac-Cen-Del might still be hurting after the 12-1 defeat they got from Lawrenceburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
