The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wilson Hall, who took down 52nd ranked Wilson Hall, 39-37. Zakki Parker ran for 162 yards and caught two passes for 28 yards in the win.
Cardinal Newman's Parker rumbled for the longest rushing play in SCISA AAA this season in his game against the Barons last week.
Tyler Roberson was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 18 carries, he ran for 203 yards as Augusta Christian bested Wilson Hall. Teammate Thomas Banks added to the ground attack by rushing for 116 yards.
William Kinney put up the best numbers through the air as Bruce Lane's team fell to Cardinal Newman. He finished with a total of six completions for 113 yards and 128 touchdowns. Kinney's favorite target this week was Tyler Pannell, who caught three passes for 60 yards.
Ajukwa was the best wideout in the league this week as Brandon Tidwell's team beat the Barons. Ajukwa tallied four receptions for 85 yards. Evan Dubois helped Cardinal Newman's passing attack out by catching four balls for 43 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Kody Watson of the Cardinals is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1535. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. On the ground, the Lions' Banks has rushed for 760 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Fortenberry. The Augusta Christian star has 33 catches for 758 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Augusta Christian takes on Hammond. Keith Walton's team's offense has scored 297 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Skyhawks have allowed only 92 on the year.
Hammond extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ben Lippen, 33-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for Erik Kimrey's team.
