Salem waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Hamilton County Foxes by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Foxes, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

While Salem won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19.

Salem got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kale Benjamin out in front who had 16 digs. Benjamin has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played. Lauren Brubaker was another key player, getting four digs and three aces.

Salem's record now sits at 21-10. As for Hamilton County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-18 record this season.

Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hamilton County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Civic Memorial on the 25th.
