Fans got a thrill when Brody Hoying and Adam Klosterman connected against Minster. The connection went for 54 yards, the longest such play in Midwest Athletic this season.
Parkway scaled the state rankings by moving to 283 from 361 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of topping Fort Recovery 43-14.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. John's takes on Marion Local. At the moment, the Bluejays are in fourth, while the Flyers are in first.
Marion Local extended the longest winning streak in Midwest Athletic this week by beating Versailles, 28-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
