Even though the Council Rock South Golden Hawks scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, the Bensalem Fighting Owls still came out on top. Bensalem walked away with a 74-62 victory over Council Rock South. That's another feather in the cap for Bensalem, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bensalem's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antonio Morris, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Morris, who scored 18 points.
Bensalem's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Council Rock South, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Bensalem will head out on the road to face off against Council Rock North at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Council Rock South, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Neshaminy at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Neshaminy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
