Having just played yesterday, the Mooseheart Red Ramblers will head out on the road to face off against Christian Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. One thing working in Mooseheart's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Even though Hiawatha scored an imposing 55 points on Monday, Mooseheart still came out on top. Mooseheart breezed by Hiawatha at home to the tune of 82-55.
Mooseheart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tolu Erinolu out in front who scored 22 points. The match was Erinolu's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nishi Amos, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Christian Liberty came up short against Families of Faith Christian Academy on Monday and fell 61-51.
Mooseheart has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Christian Liberty, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.
Everything went Mooseheart's way against Christian Liberty in their previous meeting back in December of 2019 as Mooseheart made off with a 73-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mooseheart since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
