In Thursday's league test, the Jemez Valley Warrior (Jemez Pueblo, NM) basketball squad knocked off the host Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 30-21.

Next, the Warrior encounter the Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 14. Jemez Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-15 season record. The Leopards enter the battle with a 12-10 record after their 47-33 league win over Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM).

The Owls now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy for a 2A District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 17. Oak Grove Classical Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-30 non-league loss to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 6-17.
